I think it amazes me how “love” works… How one day, you’ll be able to find “the one” that you’ll be spending the rest of your life with… The “one,” out of the 6 billion people in this world, to give your all to. The one. It also amazes me how the human mind can just know that the person they’re with at the moment, is the one they want to spend their whole life with. Knowing that there is no “forever.” Knowing that there is no guarantee that two people will stay together for the rest of their lives. Knowing that there is no such thing as a “perfect” relationship amongst two individuals… But for one single moment in time, knowing they’re the “one” can simply overpower every single fucking one of those factors. That’s amazing. To be able to look no further. To look at other people & believe that no one else in this world will ever fucking compare to the one that you’re with. To realize that along the road, you WILL have to deal with their bullshit or their flaws, but you’d put up with it & you’d accept it, because you love them. As human beings, we are given so many opportunities & chances, when it comes to deciding who we want to be with… but somehow, we can come to a decision that we no longer have to look any further or that we no longer have to look beyond for someone else, because the one that we’re with is the only one that we need. Beautiful.
